ISO 45001 is the first global standard for occupational health and safety management systems and replaces OHSAS 18001. The PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor course helps you develop the skills to audit occupational health and safety management systems (OH&S MS) using widely recognized audit principles, procedures and methods.
This course reflects the importance of effective auditing. It strengthens your knowledge and skills in planning and conducting an occupational health and safety management system audit, in line with the ISO 19011 guidelines for auditing management systems and the certification process described in ISO/IEC 17021-1.
The exercises in this course help you practise the most important aspects of an OH&S MS audit, including: the requirements of ISO 45001, audit principles, tools and techniques for gathering evidence, leading an audit team, interviewing auditees, reviewing documented information, writing nonconformity reports and preparing the final audit report.
The course is followed by an exam. If you pass, you can apply for the “PECB Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor” credential. The IAS-accredited, internationally recognized “PECB ISO 45001 Lead Auditor” certificate validates your professional abilities and shows that you have the knowledge and skills to audit an OH&S MS against ISO 45001.
